In 1913, grocer George Butler Chapman’s love for automobiles became more than an interest. Chapman’s passion turned into a four-generation run auto dealership with the opening of one the first Ford retail outlets in the state of Ohio. Chapman opened his first Ford store in Plain City, Ohio; the building remains as a functioning antique auction house today. #FlashbackFriday #NADACenturyAward

🌺 From connecting with key legislators across every Hawaiian county to diving deep into discussions about the State’s Road Usage Charge program with Mindy Kimura at the DOT, today was all about making waves at the state capitol. 🌊 A huge mahala to the Hawaii Association of Broadcasters for the amazing lunch and the opportunity to network with the Alliance for Automotive Innovation. We had the honor of meeting Senate President Ron Kouchi, House Majority Leader Nadine Nakamura, and many other dedicated public servants, sharing insights on the challenges and opportunities of EV implementation, workforce development, and the impact of our dealers across the islands. 🚗💼 Today was a reminder of the strength and resilience of our community, the importance of collaboration, and the shared goal of a sustainable future for Hawaii.
