This shrimp’s internal organs: 🍇 🎥 withgraham : “I recently found a small group of Noumea Gorgonian Shrimps at my local dive spot, which was particularly exciting as I have only ever found this species (and similar Whip Coral species) in tropical locations! Noumea Shrimps seem to prefer living in small colonies on the gorgonian coral, and have a symbiotic relationship where they seem to benefit from the shelter of the coral branches. As is the case for most of my underwater subjects, not much is known about this species at all, and they were only first described to science in 1970. This species are particularly small, at less than 1cm in length, so their eye stalks alone for example are less than 1 milimeter across. For the keen-eyed, you may already be aware of the size of a typical Gorgonian Coral branch, but for the most part I find it very difficult to convey size when every reference point in the video is on such a small scale 😅”

ReelsA magical scene in Northern Patagonia! maxijonas shares a mesmerizing encounter with southern right whales swimming just steps away from the shore. 🐋✨ Between June and November, the waters off the coast of Puerto Madryn in Argentina become the breeding grounds for these majestic creatures, where you can see them up close. Which one is the most stunning? 1- 🎥barefoot.wandering : “A Spanish Dancer elegantly rises to the surface 💃 It’s rare to find these animals swimming freely, so to stumble across this one in crystal clear water was just beautiful.” 2 - 🎥luchi.in.the.jungle : “Do you know what this is?? 🤓 I could not believe my eyes when I saw it the first time 🤩 The mesmerising Spanish Dancer 💃🏻 which sounds a lot better than Nudibranch or Sea Slug 💫 This one was about the size of my thumb, so seeing it in the open with 10 metres of depth, was very fortunate..what a sight! 🫶🏼” 3 - 🎥_bugdreamer_ : “The Flatworm 😵💫 Presently, there are approximately 20,000 species of flatworms! Flatworms usually feed on tunicates, small crustaceans, worms, and mollusks. Their life cycle is not definite. However, some species are known to have lived for between 65 to 140 days. In sexual reproduction, flatworms can either produce and fertilize their own eggs (since they are hermaphroditic) or mate with fellow flatworms (their skin absorbs sperms so minimal physical contact is required). After mating, the cocoon is released into the environment, which later develops with time and then hatches.”

“You’ve come to the wrong neighborhood bro” 🦭. The dugong is a medium-sized marine mammal. It is one of four living species of the order Sirenia, which also includes three species of manatees. It is the only living representative of the once-diverse family Dugongidae; its closest modern relative, Steller’s sea cow, was hunted to extinction in the 18th century. 📸 by romanhurghada #sea #underwater #nature #ocean
