This shrimp’s internal organs: 🍇 🎥 withgraham : “I recently found a small group of Noumea Gorgonian Shrimps at my local dive spot, which was particularly exciting as I have only ever found this species (and similar Whip Coral species) in tropical locations! Noumea Shrimps seem to prefer living in small colonies on the gorgonian coral, and have a symbiotic relationship where they seem to benefit from the shelter of the coral branches. As is the case for most of my underwater subjects, not much is known about this species at all, and they were only first described to science in 1970. This species are particularly small, at less than 1cm in length, so their eye stalks alone for example are less than 1 milimeter across. For the keen-eyed, you may already be aware of the size of a typical Gorgonian Coral branch, but for the most part I find it very difficult to convey size when every reference point in the video is on such a small scale 😅”

A magical scene in Northern Patagonia! maxijonas shares a mesmerizing encounter with southern right whales swimming just steps away from the shore. 🐋✨ Between June and November, the waters off the coast of Puerto Madryn in Argentina become the breeding grounds for these majestic creatures, where you can see them up close. Breathtaking, isn’t it? 💙 📽️ maxijonas 📍 Puerto Madryn, Argentina #sea

The perfect breach 🐋 🎥 timmboslice_ : “It’s heavily discussed why Humpback whales breach out of the water like this - I like to think they do it because they’re having so much fun 💙🐋🙌”
