Managing login methods and connecting social accounts

한국어

How to connect and disconnect Google, Kakao and Naver logins on one account, and what to do if your accounts are split.

What login methods are

Besides email and password, inlink supports Google, Kakao and Naver social logins. Connecting several of them to the same account means that if one method stops working, you can still get in with another.

Manage them under Settings → Login methods (/settings/login-methods). The screen shows the connection status of email, Naver, Kakao and Google as chips.

  • Primary — the method actually in use for your current login
  • Connected — a method you have added
  • Coming soon — a method not yet supported (Apple login and so on)

If your account has no password yet (because you signed up with a social login only), a note at the bottom of the screen suggests creating one. Tapping Create password takes you to the password reset screen where you can set one.

Connecting another social account

Tap Connect next to a social login you have not connected yet and you are taken to that service's authentication window (Kakao, Google, Naver). When you finish, it is connected to the account you are currently logged into. 연결하기 클릭인증 창에서로그인·동의연결 완료

  1. At /settings/login-methods, tap Connect on the method you want.
  2. For Kakao and Google, sign in and give consent in the popup (or new screen) that opens.
  3. Naver takes you to a separate authentication page.
  4. When it finishes you return to the login methods screen and a "connected" message appears at the top.

Disconnecting

Tapping Disconnect next to a connected method opens a confirmation; confirming removes that login method from your account. To use it again you go through the authentication process from the start.

However, the last remaining login method cannot be disconnected. That is a safeguard against locking yourself out completely. In that case no "disconnect" button is shown on that row, and the note below the list explains why. Create a password or connect one more social channel and the button appears.

Also, one social account (a specific Kakao account, for example) can be connected to only one inlink account. Trying to connect a social account that is already linked to another inlink account shows "this social account is already connected to another account" and the connection is blocked.

When your accounts have been split

If you see that message, or you logged in with a social account you used before and your campaign history and points are missing, your account may have been split in two. inlink does not move data or points across automatically. Use the 1:1 inquiry button in that message to file an inquiry and we will help after checking.

To work out which method shows your existing history, start with What to do when you cannot log in (migrated members, split accounts).
