How to apply to an experience campaign (from application to selection)
한국어The application steps for an experience campaign, the participation deposit, and how to check whether you were selected.
Applying to a campaign is free. Check the terms on the campaign page, fill in the application form, submit it, and you are done. We let you know whether you were selected by app notification and email. This page walks you through what to check before applying, how selection is announced, and how to cancel an application.
Before you apply: terms, reward, deposit
Check the following on the campaign detail screen (/campaigns/[id]).
- Campaign type and delivery method — whether it runs as delivery-type, visit-type, purchase-type, short-form and so on
- Reward points — the points you receive on completion (or "product provided")
- Recruiting period and submission deadline — always-open campaigns show "always recruiting"; campaigns with a deadline show the days remaining as "D-n"
- Participation deposit — some campaigns hold points when you apply. This appears as a "deposit of N,NNNP required" chip on the detail and application screens; see the participation deposit article for details.
Once you have checked, tap [Apply to this campaign] on the detail screen to open the application screen (/campaigns/[id]/apply). If you are not logged in, you are taken to the login or signup screen first.
The application step by step
- Write your application message (your plan) — briefly describe why you suit this campaign and how you plan to create the content.
- Check your social channel — if the campaign specifies a channel (Instagram, Naver Blog, YouTube, TikTok and so on), the screen shows automatically whether your registered channel matches. If you have no channel registered, you are guided to connect one first.
- Enter a shipping address for delivery-type campaigns — your most recent address is filled in automatically and you can edit it.
- Check the purchase link for purchase-type campaigns — if the brand registered a store link, you can open it straight from the screen.
- Fill in the extra fields — answer any custom questions or choose options (color, size and so on) that this campaign adds.
- Review the personal data consent — you see a summary of what is passed to the brand if you are selected (nickname, social channels, collaboration history and so on).
- Agree to the notices and submit — if the campaign has notices, you must agree to all of them before the [Apply] button becomes active. Tapping it opens a summary window; confirm there and your application is complete.
What you enter when applying
- Your application message (your plan for the campaign)
- (Campaigns with a specified channel) your social channel details
- (Delivery-type) your shipping address
- (Per campaign) answers to extra questions and options
- (Optional) an extra reward amount you would like, or a voluntary deposit — tick the box and enter the amount (leaving it blank does not affect your application)
Applying costs nothing. If the campaign has a participation deposit, that amount of points is held the moment you apply (you can see it on the points and activity screens).
Checking whether you were selected
- When a brand selects you, we notify you by app push and email.
- If you are not selected, there is no separate notification; the deposit that was held is returned to your points (a "return", not a "refund").
- You can check your applications at any time on the activity screen (
/activity). The status tabs run applied → selected → submitted → paid, and applications that were not chosen show as "not selected".
Cancelling an application, and duplicate applications
- Before selection is announced (while your application is pending), you can cancel from the campaign detail screen by tapping [Already applied] once more. The button changes to "Cancel this application?" and tapping again confirms the cancellation.
- After selection, you cannot cancel the application; a separate selection-cancellation process applies.
- You cannot apply to the same campaign twice. A campaign you have already applied to shows its current status on the detail screen.
- If you cancel an application, you can apply to that campaign again.
Overdue submissions lock new applications
If you have three or more campaigns whose submission deadline has passed without you ever uploading anything, new campaign applications are locked.
- Campaigns already in progress are unaffected (they are not cancelled).
- The lock lifts on the spot once you are down to two or fewer overdue campaigns. If four are overdue, uploading two is enough.
- A campaign is also removed from the count when the brand extends its deadline.
- While you are locked, we show you the names of the overdue campaigns. Campaigns you can still upload to link to the submission screen; campaigns whose submission window has closed link to the deadline status in your activity history.
- If only campaigns past their submission window remain, so that uploading cannot clear the lock, we tell you that and point you to the deadline status.
- For details, see the campaign rules article.
Frequently asked
Q. Does applying cost money? No, applying itself is free. If the campaign has a participation deposit, that amount of points is held when you apply and returned if you are not selected or when you complete the campaign normally.
Q. Where do I see the result? If you are selected we send an app push and an email, and you can check the activity screen at any time. Not being selected produces no separate notification; it appears only as a status on the activity screen.
