What self-pay means — the difference in purchase-type campaigns
한국어What the self-pay amount means when the product price is higher than the reward in a purchase-type campaign, and how it is calculated and shown.
What is self-pay
In a purchase-type campaign you buy the product yourself and then review it. When the product price is higher than the reward you will receive, you cover the difference yourself. That amount is called self-pay (your personal contribution).
For example, if the product costs KRW 30,000 and the reward is 20,000P, the KRW 10,000 difference is your self-pay. If the reward is equal to or higher than the product price, there is no self-pay (KRW 0).
Where it is shown
- Campaign lists, search and discover — purchase-type campaigns with self-pay show a "self-pay KRW N" badge.
- Campaign detail screen — the notice near the apply button shows the purchase cost, the reward and the difference together.
- Application screen — the self-pay amount is printed in the consent text.
Always check this amount before you apply.
Points people often get confused about
Q. When do I pay the self-pay amount? It is part of what you pay when you buy the product yourself. inlink does not bill it separately — it is simply the difference between the purchase price and the reward you receive later.
Q. Does every campaign have self-pay? No. Only purchase-type campaigns where the product price is higher than the reward. Other types such as delivery-type and visit-type, and purchase-type campaigns where the reward covers the price, have none.
Q. Should I apply if there is self-pay? Compare the reward you will receive for the review with the amount you will actually pay, and decide from there. The difference shown on screen is what you will be covering.
