Business signup and business registration verification

How to sign up as a brand, verify your business registration number, what that unlocks, and how to resolve verification errors.

You can create campaigns on inlink whether or not you are verified. Sign up with a business account and register your business registration number under Settings > Organization > Organization details, and your tax invoice details are filled in automatically. This page covers the signup fields and what to check when verification is blocked.

Signing up as a brand

  1. On the signup screen, choose business rather than influencer.
  2. Enter the following.
    • Company name: your company or brand name
    • Business registration number: in the format 000-00-00000 (hyphens are added automatically)
    • Contact name: the real name of the person handling the account
    • Phone number: a mobile number starting with 010
    • Email and password (or a Google, Kakao or Naver social account)
  3. Agree to the required terms (age 14 or older, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy) and tap Create business account to finish.

An organization is created for you at signup, and the company name and business registration number you entered are saved as its basic details.

If an organization is already registered with the same business registration number, signup is blocked and you are asked to have that organization's administrator invite you as a team member. See the team invitation article for how several people share one company account.

Verifying the business registration number

After signup you can check and edit the number again under Business Center > Settings > Organization management > Organization details (/biz/settings/organization).

  1. Tap the Verify button next to the business registration number field.
  2. inlink checks the status through the National Tax Service business registration lookup.
  3. The result appears on screen immediately.
    • Confirmed by the National Tax Service — active business: properly registered and trading
    • If the check fails, the reason is shown (format error, suspended, closed, not registered with the tax office and so on).

You can re-run Verify at any time before saving, and the result is written to the organization details only when you tap Save.

What verification unlocks

Registering and verifying your business registration number feeds into the following.

  • Tax invoice details: the company name, business registration number, representative name and tax invoice email saved in your organization details are filled in automatically as the tax invoice details when you charge points.
  • Organization (company) details: representative name, address, business type and category are managed together on the organization screen.
  • You can invite more contacts to run campaigns together in the same organization.

When verification fails (suspended, closed, wrong number)

  • "The business registration number format is invalid": check the 10 digits again (000-00-00000).
  • "A suspended business registration number cannot be registered": the business is suspended according to the National Tax Service. Try again once the status is active.
  • "A closed business registration number cannot be registered": the number is recorded as closed by the National Tax Service. Sign up with another valid number.
  • "This business registration number is not registered with the National Tax Service": re-enter and check the number. If you registered the business very recently, the tax office record may not have caught up — try again a little later.
  • If none of that resolves it, tell the inlink team by chat what you are seeing.
