inlink brand policy and glossary
한국어The key terms — returns, refunds, escrow, rewards — plus the lifecycle of campaigns, proposals and Market orders and the rules on fees, subscriptions and payment.
Key terms
The words that come up most often on brand screens and in our emails, in one place.
- Campaign — one open call in which a brand recruits influencers. It is the core unit on inlink.
- Selection — choosing which applicants to work with. The dashboard shows it as "N selected". On a campaign with a reward, you cannot select more people than there are spots.
- Reward — what the influencer is paid in points when a campaign, proposal or Market order completes.
- Escrow — holding the reward out of the brand's balance when the deal starts. It goes to the influencer on completion and back to the brand on cancellation. When it is held differs by deal type: a campaign holds the whole amount up front when it is published, a proposal the moment it is sent, a Market order the moment it is bought.
- Return — points (P) coming back to the brand's balance. For example, held rewards coming back when a campaign, proposal or Market order is cancelled, or a deposit coming back when an applicant is not selected.
- Refund — cancelling an actual card or cash payment, such as cancelling a card payment for a subscription.
The three kinds of deal and their lifecycles
inlink has three kinds of deal that start differently, but the back half — "submit → approve within 14 days → pay" — is the same for all three.
- Campaign — publish → recruit → select → (influencer) submits the deliverable → approved within 14 days → paid
- Proposal — send (held in escrow) → accepted → deliverable submitted → approved within 14 days → paid
- Market order — bought (escrow) → seller accepts → deliverable submitted → buyer confirms → settled
In all three, once you have the deliverable you either approve it or send a revision request. After a revision request the influencer submits again.
Payment, fee and subscription rules
- Publishing a campaign: on Growth and Pro the publishing fee is waived entirely. With no subscription, number of spots × 5,000P is charged at the moment you publish. Starter waives it for social content campaigns only; other types cost a flat 5,000P per campaign published.
- Sending a proposal: on Growth and Pro the sending fee is waived. With no subscription or on Starter, 5,000P per proposal is deducted. If it is declined, expires unanswered or is withdrawn, both the held reward and the sending fee are returned.
- Subscription plans: Starter, Growth and Pro, all available directly on the payments screen. See the subscription plans article for prices and benefits.
- Market purchase fee: added to the sale price according to the buyer's (the brand's) plan (15% with no subscription, 10% on Starter, 0% on Growth and Pro). On Market orders created now, the seller (the influencer) is settled the full sale price. (Direct proposals use the flat 5,000P per send rule rather than a percentage.)
Payment, approval and automatic approval
- Approve or send a revision request within 14 days of the deliverable being submitted.
- Doing nothing for 14 days approves it automatically (and where there is a reward, approval pays it). This applies equally to campaigns, proposals and Market orders.
- A Market order the buyer does not confirm within 14 days completes automatically and is settled to the seller.
- Returns from cancelling or declining a campaign, proposal or Market order are always made in points. Even if you paid by card, the money comes back as points rather than to the card.
Privacy and display policy
- Influencers' real names are not shown as a rule. Public screens show only a nickname or a social handle (@…). A real name is shown only where the brand has selected that influencer, or has sent a proposal that was accepted.
- Brands are always shown by company name. The real name of the person managing the account is not shown.
