Pricing and rewards by option — paying a different reward per choice
한국어How to set a different additional purchase price and reward for each option choice, and when the points are deducted.
What an option is
"Option settings" on the campaign creation screen is where you create the choices applicants make. Use it when the same product splits into variants — color, size, pack size. A campaign can have up to five options.
- Option name — what is being chosen (for example, pack size)
- Choices — the available values (for example, single pack, twin pack)
Applicants pick one of these choices when they apply. On the applicant management screen you see who chose what, and ship or give purchase instructions accordingly.
The "required" switch — making a choice compulsory
Each option row has a "required" switch.
| State | On the applicant's screen |
|---|---|
| On | They cannot apply at all without choosing from this option |
| Off (default) | They can skip it |
Turn it off for something like color where any variant is fine, and on for something like size where shipping is blocked without it. With it off, the applicant management screen counts those applicants as "not chosen" and you have to ask them by chat later.
★The required switch can be turned on and off even after applications have started. The change applies from the next applicant onward; applications already received stay as they are.
The "different price and reward" switch — a different amount per choice
This is the second switch on each option row. Turning it on opens two fields for each choice in that option.
- Additional purchase price (KRW) — how much more expensive it is than the base product price. This is display only for the applicant (inlink neither collects nor pays this amount).
- Additional reward (P) — points paid on top of the base reward. This is the field where money actually moves.
For example, in a campaign with a base reward of 15,900P, entering an additional reward of 9,000P for "twin pack" means an applicant who chose twin pack receives 24,900P on selection.
★The switch is per option row. Turning it on for "pack size" while leaving "color" off keeps color as a simple list of choices as before. Newly added options always start switched off.
Input rules
- Additional rewards are in units of 1,000P. Amounts like "+500P" cannot be set.
- There is a cap on the total additional reward attached to one person. If switching on several options pushes the total over the cap, a message appears when you save.
- The baseline choice (additional amount 0) is labelled "base option".
When is the money taken, and how much
This is the most common question. In order:
- When you create the campaign — nothing is charged. You are only writing the amounts down. The note at the bottom of the creation screen, "option additional rewards up to N P", is the maximum if every recruit chose the most expensive option, not a bill.
- When applications arrive — nothing is deducted. Only who chose what is recorded.
- ★At the moment you select — that is when it is deducted. The additional reward for the choice each selected person made comes out of your brand points balance. Selecting two people who chose the twin pack (+9,000P) deducts 18,000P. People who chose the single pack (+0P) add nothing.
- The base reward is handled at the same point and in the same way as before. Option additional rewards sit on top of it.
The selection confirmation window lists who chose what and how much it adds, so you can check it with your own eyes just before it is deducted. If your points balance is short, the selection does not go through, so top up in advance.
What applicants and influencers see
- On the campaign detail screen, the option list shows the additional reward for each choice. It is not where they choose; it tells them in advance what each choice is worth.
- On the application screen they actually choose one. Each choice states "the final reward if you choose this", so applicants know what they will receive.
- After choosing, a summary appears: "reward of N P if selected".
- Turning option pricing on removes the field where applicants type in a reward amount themselves. Amounts are fixed by the option table the brand set.
Where to check it on brand screens
- "Option status" above the applicant table — counts "applied N · selected N" for each choice, so you can see which choices attracted applications. Applicants who chose nothing are counted separately as "not chosen".
- The reward column of the applicant table — shows the additional reward attached to that applicant.
- The selection confirmation window — lists the chosen options and amounts just before you select.
- The deliverable review screen — puts the option the applicant chose next to the order number so you can check they bought what they applied for.
Things to note
- You cannot switch "different price and reward" on or off once a campaign has applicants, because people applied on the basis of those amounts. To use the feature, switch it on when creating a new campaign.
- Option pricing is available for purchase-type campaigns.
- Turning "different price and reward" off erases the amounts entered for that option. Turning it on again starts from blank fields.
- Without "required" on, applicants can apply without choosing the option, and no additional reward attaches. If you have set amounts per choice, turning "required" on as well causes less confusion.
Frequently asked
Q. A maximum amount appears when I create the campaign — is that being charged now? No. Nothing is deducted during creation or recruiting. It is deducted at selection, and only for what was actually chosen.
Q. What if I do not fill all the places? Only the people you selected are deducted for. Unfilled places incur nothing.
Q. Should I switch it on for an option like color, where the value is the same? No. Leave it off for options with no price difference. Switching it on adds a row of zero fields per choice and only makes creation more tedious.
Q. Can I change an applicant's chosen option after selecting them? Changing an option after selection is not handled on the applicant management screen. Agree it by chat and then contact the inlink team.
