In-store purchase campaigns — you pay first and get points back

한국어

The order and the pitfalls of campaigns where you pay at the store — your money goes out first, the receipt must be uploaded before the deliverable field opens, and what comes back is points.

In an in-store purchase campaign the brand does not send you the product; you go to the store and pay for it yourself, then post a review. Three things about it surprise people the first time, so it is worth reading this page before you apply.

Three things to know before applying

  1. You pay at the store with your own money. The brand does not pay in advance or ship anything. Real money leaves your card or wallet at the till.
  2. What comes back is points, not cash. When your deliverable is approved, the reward written on the campaign arrives in your wallet as points (P).
  3. The deliverable field opens only after you upload the receipt. You do not submit the receipt and the review together — the receipt comes first.

Points 1 and 3 also appear as a "please check before applying" card at the top of the campaign page and the application screen.

The order, step by step

  1. Read the "store information" on the campaign page — the store address, store contact and instructions for visiting and buying. The store contact is shown only to selected influencers.
  2. Apply — tick "I agree to pay at the store myself and upload the receipt" in the confirmation window to finish your application.
  3. Once selected, visit the store and pay — be sure to keep the receipt. Photographing it is the easiest way.
  4. Tap "proof of purchase" in your activity list and upload the receipt — the deliverable field opens only after this step.
  5. Create your review and submit it as your deliverable — from there, the process (brand review → approval within 14 days → payment) is the same as any other campaign.

How to upload the receipt

  • Upload it with the "proof of purchase" button in your activity list (/activity) or on the campaign page.
  • You can upload up to 5 images, in case the items and the payment print on separate receipts.
  • Files can be photos (JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC) or PDF, up to 20MB each.
  • In-store purchase campaigns have no order number. Only campaigns bought from an online shop record one.

Trying to submit a deliverable before uploading the receipt shows "please upload your in-store receipt first" and stops there. That is not an error; it is a reminder about the order.

How the money moves

WhenWhat happens
Paying at the storeYour own money goes out (the full purchase price)
When the deliverable is approvedThe reward written on the campaign arrives as points
Turning points into cashYou have to make a withdrawal request separately

Points sit in your wallet; they do not reach your bank account automatically. To receive cash, follow How to withdraw your points and make a withdrawal request. Tax (3.3%) applies at withdrawal.

Some campaigns have a purchase price higher than the reward. You cover that difference yourself and do not get it back; it is called self-pay — see What self-pay means for details. The application screen shows "what you pay first" together with the notice about additional costs.

Frequently asked

I lost the receipt. Ask the store to reissue it. If you paid by card, the transaction screen in your card company's app is often accepted as proof. If that is still difficult, tell the brand first through the contact route on the campaign page.

The product was not in stock when I visited. If you have not paid yet, ask the brand first. Calling the store contact to check stock before visiting saves a wasted trip.

I cannot see "what you pay first". That line is hidden when the campaign does not state a purchase price, or when the amount depends on the option you choose. It is there so we never print an amount that might be wrong. In that case, check the "store information" on the campaign page and ask the brand.
