Closing your account and appealing an account restriction
한국어How to close your account, what happens to your points, and how to check the reason for an account restriction and appeal it.
How to close your account
- Tap Close account at the bottom of the account screen in My Page (
/mypage/account) or of Settings (/settings). - Read what will be lost on the closure screen (
/settings/withdraw). - You can leave a reason (optional).
- Tick the agreement box, tap Close account, and confirm with Close in the final window.
Closing locks the account, hides your profile and activity history, and means you cannot log in with that account again. It cannot be undone, so take your time.
Closure may not be possible right away
If you have activity that is not yet settled, the closure screen explains why, and you can close once it is resolved.
- You have a campaign application, proposal or Market order in progress
- You have a withdrawal request or refund request in progress
- You submitted a deliverable within the last three months — you cannot close until three months have passed since your most recent submission. The exact date is shown as "earliest closure date" on the closure screen. If you have an unavoidable reason, contact the inlink team by chat.
What happens to your points
The following are lost in full at closure and cannot be recovered.
- Your entire points balance
- Rewards not yet paid — rewards you were due to receive later from campaigns and proposals in progress are lost as well.
- If you have a paid subscription, the remaining period ends with it and there is no separate refund.
For that reason the closure screen recommends withdrawing any withdrawable points first, and closing only after receiving the rewards from campaigns in progress. See How to withdraw your points for the process.
What an account restriction is
If a restriction is placed on your account for a guideline breach or similar reason, a banner appears at the top of the screen.
Your account is restricted
You can only submit deliverables for outstanding and revision-requested campaigns, and use messages.
The Contact the inlink team button on the right of the banner opens a chat with the inlink team directly.
What still works during a restriction
- Submitting deliverables for campaigns you were already selected for — items you have not submitted yet, and resubmissions for items the brand asked you to revise, still work. The submission route for campaigns where you already received the product stays open during a restriction.
- Sending messages in existing conversations — you can continue discussions with the contact for a campaign in progress.
- Contacting the inlink team — the route for asking about the reason is always open.
- Browsing campaigns and posts (reading)
The submission deadline set on each campaign still applies. A campaign past its deadline may close for submissions regardless of the restriction, so if you have anything to submit, do not put it off.
What is blocked during a restriction
- Applying to new campaigns and responding to proposals
- Writing posts
- Payments
- Withdrawals and Naver Pay conversion
- Starting a new conversation — only sending a first message to someone you have not spoken to is blocked. Continue anything in progress in the existing conversation.
Restrictions often relate to breaches of the campaign rules (no-shows, paybacks, direct dealing), so start with Campaign rules and penalties to see which behaviour is subject to action.
How to appeal
If you disagree with the reason for a restriction, there are two routes.
- The Contact the inlink team button in the banner at the top of the screen — it opens a chat with the inlink team directly. This is the quicker of the two.
- 1:1 inquiry (
/help/inquiry) — file it with the inquiry type account / verification. Your inquiry is answered after review.
When appealing, please note the following.
- Including your activity before the restriction (campaign names, conversations) makes the check faster.
- You can follow the progress of your inquiry under My inquiries (
/help/my-inquiries).
